At the request of President Sadyr Japarov, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan is actively negotiating with several Middle Eastern countries, including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the Sultanate of Oman, with the aim of organizing evacuation flights for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Ministry emphasizes that the issue remains under careful control, and additional information about the results of the negotiations will be provided later.

The Ministry also urges Kyrgyz citizens in Middle Eastern countries to exercise caution, avoid crowded places and potentially dangerous areas, follow the instructions of local authorities, and always carry identification and contact information for diplomatic missions, as well as stay informed about official announcements.

On February 28, Israel and the USA conducted strikes against Iran. Donald Trump confirmed the intention to eliminate Iran's nuclear program.

In response, Iran began striking targets in Israel and other Middle Eastern countries where American military bases are located. Strikes were recorded in Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai (UAE), as well as in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

As a result of the attack by American-Israeli forces, the Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, was killed, and his wife, Mansure Khodjasteh, died from her injuries.

Trump stated that the military operation in Iran would last about four weeks. In response, Iran declared jihad against the USA and Israel, emphasizing that there would be no negotiations.

The current situation in the Middle East affects other countries as well, including Kyrgyzstan, where thousands of tourists have found themselves in a difficult situation in the UAE due to the conflict. The phone numbers of embassies and consulates for Kyrgyz citizens abroad can be found here.
