The Embassy of Hungary has received information from the Ministry of Science, Higher Education, and Innovations of the Kyrgyz Republic regarding technical malfunctions that occurred during the data transmission for the Stipendium Hungaricum program. This was reported by 24.kg.

According to the diplomatic mission, the corrected data from the initial selection conducted by the ministry will be sent to the Tempus Foundation in the near future. This foundation is responsible for the implementation of the scholarship program.

Once the data is transmitted, the Hungarian side will be able to continue processing it.

Previously, in 2026, applicants raised questions regarding the national selection procedure for the international Stipendium Hungaricum program. According to readers of 24.kg, this year the Ministry of Science did not publish a general list of recommended candidates, as it had done in previous years. Instead, the results were sent individually, without public posting of the final list.

Among those who did not pass the selection were applicants with high academic levels, including good GPA results, IELTS scores, and achievements in various competitions.

Meanwhile, the ministry assured that verification of all data is currently underway to form rankings. As of now, the official results of the competitive selection have not yet been approved or published.

The final results will be published only after all checks are completed and approved on the government portal.
