One user reported that this year, the Ministry of Education and Science conducted a national stage of the competition.
According to her, many students with high academic results received rejections in one list, without explanations and without published scores or clearly formulated criteria. In response to candidates' inquiries, ministry staff do not provide information.
Over time, the rules and format for announcing results change, yet the level of transparency does not increase. This raises serious questions about the national selection process. "We are not asking for any privileges, just transparency. Publish the criteria, show the scores, provide official explanations. Students deserve a fair and understandable competition," wrote user akito_nomad.
In response to the raised questions, the Ministry of Science, Higher Education and Innovation informed Kaktus.media that verification of all data necessary for forming ranking indicators is currently underway. Official results will be published only after all checks are completed and approved in the established manner on the ministry's website.
As of now, the official results of the competitive selection have not been approved or published. The results will be forwarded to the Hungarian side only after final approval. The ministry emphasized that "the Kyrgyz side recommends a preliminary list of nominees; however, the final decision on awarding grants and enrolling candidates is made by the Hungarian side. We ask participants in the competitive selection to understand the ongoing verification and to wait for the publication of the official results."
