Up to 5 million soms will be allocated to women in Kyrgyzstan by the Swiss project 'Araket'
The Swiss project 'Araket' will allocate up to 5 million soms for women in Kyrgyzstan. This decision was the result of a business idea competition held in Bishkek and Osh, as reported in a press release from the Swiss Embassy.

During the pitching sessions, the selection of participants for small grants aimed at starting or expanding businesses was completed.

As a result of the selection events, 11 winners were identified in Bishkek and 5 in Osh, each of whom will receive grant support in the form of necessary equipment to implement or scale their idea.

The grant amounts for each participant will range from 200,000 to 350,000 soms. A total of 16 business initiatives will receive support within the current project cycle.

The 'Araket' project is implemented by GFA Consulting Group GmbH and aims to improve living conditions in new buildings in Kyrgyzstan. It is carried out with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and the Swiss Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic.
