According to the press service of the Ministry of Health, the aim of the event is to prevent dental diseases in children, raise public awareness about the importance of regular check-ups, foster a culture of oral health care, and emphasize parents' responsibility for their children's health.
During the event, dentists will offer the following services:
- preventive check-ups for children,
- professional oral hygiene,
- sealant application on permanent teeth for children aged 6 to 14,
- education on the basics of proper oral hygiene.
Information from 24.kg
- Sealant application is an effective method of protecting children's molars from cavities.
- Fissures are natural grooves on the chewing surfaces of teeth where food particles and bacteria accumulate. A special protective material allows these areas to be "sealed," thereby preventing the development of cavities.
- The procedure is completely safe, painless, and particularly effective during the period when permanent teeth are forming.
Dentists encourage everyone interested to take the opportunity to receive professional consultations.
The Ministry of Health recommends contacting dental clinics in your area and scheduling appointments in advance.
A list of institutions participating in the event will be published later.
