The first online broadcast of court hearings took place at the Sverdlovsk District Court of Bishkek, including a case related to domestic violence. This was reported by the press service of the Supreme Court.

The event was attended by Aman Jumaliev, Deputy Head of the Supreme Court Apparatus, and Aibek Aydarov, Deputy Minister of Justice.

It is worth noting that amendments were made to the Criminal Procedure Code of Kyrgyzstan, officially introducing the concepts of "online broadcast of court hearings" and "video conferencing." Now participants in the criminal process, including the accused, have the right to familiarize themselves with the minutes of the hearings, as well as with audio and video materials, and can submit comments on them.

In addition, there is now the possibility to request hearings using video communication or broadcasting in real time on television, radio, or via the internet.

These innovations aim to improve transparency in justice, strengthen public trust in the judicial system, and enhance openness and legal culture among citizens. They provide the opportunity for remote observation of court proceedings, discipline participants in the process, and help reduce bureaucratic barriers, making justice more accessible.
