Kuanychbek Kongantiev was elected to parliament from district No. 21 (Lenin District of Bishkek), receiving 13,379 votes from voters. In the Jogorku Kenesh, he represented the parliamentary group "El ümitü Ata-Jurt" and held the position of chairman of the committee on industrial policy, transport, fuel and energy complex, architecture, and construction.
Previously, the following deputies also resigned:
- Eldar Sulaymanov;
- Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu;
- Kunduzbek Sulaymanov.
Additionally, Janar Akayev left his position due to his appointment as the mayor of the city of Osh.
