After Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu left the position of speaker of the parliament, several deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh made comments.
Janar Akayev noted that Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu successfully fulfilled his duties as speaker, avoiding the involvement of the parliament in political conflicts.
“You worked honestly and responsibly. I especially want to emphasize your initiative to transition the administrative proceedings in the Jogorku Kenesh to the Kyrgyz language and the adoption of the constitutional law on the state language. Your contribution to the development of the Kyrgyz language is indeed significant,” Akayev added.
He also reminded that under Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu's leadership, crucial laws were adopted, such as the law on the rehabilitation of repressed ancestors and the law on education.
“As a speaker, you made a significant contribution to these processes, and we are proud to have worked with you. Your activities are highly valued. Not everyone can leave their position with their head held high, as this is a mess,” the deputy emphasized.
