Eldar Suimanov, a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh, has once again spoken out regarding the accusations of domestic violence made by his ex-wife Asel Azamatova.
The parliamentarian claims that he has never resorted to physical violence against his spouse and views the current accusations as an attempt to create a false impression against the backdrop of discussions on the pressing issue of domestic violence.
Suimanov recounted that he met Asel in 2016, after which they started a family and became parents to three sons. He noted that their life together included verbal conflicts, which intensified over time, and in some cases, he himself became a victim of aggression.

According to the deputy, there were incidents involving property damage, including to a car and windows. He also reported instances where threats were directed at him, including with the use of a knife and throwing objects. Suimanov emphasized that these conflicts were the reason for the breakdown of their relationship.
Furthermore, the deputy noted that some disputes with Asel occurred in public places, which sometimes led to the intervention of law enforcement agencies. At the same time, as the parliamentarian claims, the responsibility for these incidents often fell on him.
In 2023, the couple divorced. Eldar noted that after the separation, he left his ex-wife an apartment in Bishkek and continued to financially support the children, as well as Asel Azamatova, covering their education, clothing, and leisure, including trips abroad.

The parliamentarian shared that in May 2025, there was an attempt to resume their life together, which unfortunately was unsuccessful. Despite this, he stated that he continued to support his children and their mother.
Commenting on the situation, Suimanov emphasized that he considers the accusations against him to be unjust and stemming from emotional distress following the divorce. He urged the public to be restrained in their judgments and reminded that this is a private matter.
Eldar Suimanov added that this is his last public statement on the issue. He also noted that despite the conflicts, Asel Azamatova remains the mother of his children and called for refraining from using offensive language towards her.
It should be reminded that earlier Asel Azamatova stated on her social media about multiple instances of violence by her ex-husband.
The Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek reported that an investigation is currently underway regarding this case, and a protection order has been issued against Asel.
