In her message, she reported systematic violence from the parliamentarian, noting that these horrors began when he became a deputy in early 2022.
Asel recounted that in the summer of 2022, after one of the beatings, she was hospitalized, and she filed a complaint with the police. However, according to her, "not a single law enforcement officer" showed any interest in her condition, not even calling to check if she was alive.
She admitted that after some time, she forgave her husband, as she was completely dependent on him. Nevertheless, the constant alcohol binges, infidelities, and violence continued, which forced her to file for divorce.
She also published photographs showing bruises.
Asel Azamatova indicated that her last statement to law enforcement was filed on April 6, 2024, concerning a brutal beating in front of three children. A forensic examination confirmed the presence of hematomas and bruises all over her body, as well as bald patches on her head from pulled-out hair.
The woman emphasized that she urgently demands that Eldar Sulaymanov stop stalking her, psychologically pressuring the children, and threatening to take them away from her.
So far, there have been no comments from the deputy in the public space.
The capital's Main Internal Affairs Directorate promised to provide comments on this case later.
