Everyone to the clean-up: a two-month campaign for improvement has been announced in Bishkek

The city authorities have called on residents to participate in the sanitation and improvement of the capital

The Bishkek city hall has announced the start of a two-month campaign dedicated to the improvement of the city. This decision was announced in an official statement from the municipality.

According to information from the authorities, the clean-up days are aimed at improving the condition of urban infrastructure, greening, and sanitation of the capital. As part of this event, residents are invited to actively participate in the cleaning of streets, parks, squares, and yards, as well as in planting trees and shrubs, and improving public spaces.

In addition to residents, enterprises, organizations, and institutions of various forms of ownership will also be involved in the campaign.

It is worth noting that previously, residents have repeatedly expressed dissatisfaction with the actions of the city hall related to the mass cutting down of trees, the lack of watering for already planted saplings, and the mandatory involvement of schoolchildren, students, and budget workers in the clean-up days.
