Elnura Kasenova, a mother of four sons from the village of Chyrak in the Jeti-Oguz district of the Issyk-Kul region, once dreamed of becoming a singer but chose the path of a teacher.

Among the local residents, Elnura is known as an example of a modern educator who skillfully combines respect for traditions, family values, and modern technologies.

Elnura was born on April 11, 1988, in Taldy-Suu, located in the Tyup district of the Issyk-Kul region. Her family consisted of civil servants: her father worked as an ambulance driver for over 40 years, and her mother is still employed as the head nurse.

After graduating from Mukai Elebaev School in 2005, Elnura went to Bishkek with the dream of becoming a singer. However, her aunt suggested she consider becoming a teacher, as it would be a more respected profession in case of marriage in the village. Elnura could not go against her relatives' opinions.

Enrolling in Bishkek Humanities University (BHU) was a real challenge for her. Despite the difficulties related to the heat and the urban transportation system, Elnura decided to study at the Faculty of Philology, which marked the beginning of her career as a teacher of the Kyrgyz language and literature.

Elnura's personal life developed quickly: after her first year, she met her future husband, and soon the young family moved to Chyrak. Starting in 2009, while she was a third-year student, she began working at Talyp Akun School.

To date, Elnura has 16 years of experience working in a school. She not only teaches but also performs the functions of a social educator, paying attention to each student.

Elnura actively incorporates interactive and media lessons into the educational process, utilizes artificial intelligence technologies, and has developed her own speed reading course "Bilimge Sapar" for primary grades.

Her portfolio includes a victory in the "Digital Teacher" course, which earned her a trip to Tashkent, honorary certificates from the Congress of Women for an essay on national values, the status of "Blogger-Teacher," and awards from the "Zээндүү muгалим" Olympiad in 2025.

These achievements are also reflected in her students: about 70% of them successfully enroll in budget places at universities. Among them are those who scored high on the ORT — 189 and 169.

Elnura takes particular pride in the creative successes of her protégés: two of them became students at the acting faculty of the B. Beishenaliev Arts University, and one was admitted to the budget music college named after M. Kureneev.

As the coordinator of the "Digital Academy" in her district, Elnura organizes book competitions, the winners of which get the opportunity to travel to Almaty.

In addition, Elnura manages her school's social media, engages in video editing, and enjoys singing and dancing. She spends her summer vacations abroad, working as a cook in Bulgaria, which she considers an excellent way to see the world and gain new experiences.

She also bears the responsibility of caring for her family: together with her husband, they raise four sons. The eldest, Erjan, is already a first-year student, while the others are schoolchildren.

Elnura hopes for more opportunities for experience exchange between rural teachers and students abroad. "There are many talented children in our villages. We must give them the right direction. My sons also aspire to the arts: one wants to be like Bolot Minzhilkiev, the other like Kerim Turapov. Seeing them fulfill dreams that were dear to me in childhood is true happiness," shares Elnura.
