Aikerim Talantbekova, a teacher of Russian language and literature at the M.Elebaev School, is located in the village of Taldy-Suu in the Tyup District of the Issyk-Kul Region. Over her nine years in education, she has not only become an "Excellence in Education" awardee but has also opened doors for her students to the world, achieving victories in international competitions.

Since childhood, Aikerim has been passionate about literature. Born in 1993 in the Chui Region, she developed a love for the Russian language from an early age. "I had a teacher who taught Russian so inspiringly that I literally fell in love with the subject. Even when I was herding cattle, I memorized poems and verses," she shares.

Aikerim's fate changed in the ninth grade when she met her future husband. It was an important choice: he was the younger son, and they would have to live with his parents in the village. She decided that if she were to live in the village, it would only be as a teacher.

Upon joining her husband's family, Aikerim found herself surrounded by educators: her father-in-law and mother-in-law had worked in a school for a long time (her father-in-law was the principal), and her husband's older brother was also a teacher. The family fully supported her pursuit of knowledge.

In 2012, she enrolled in the Issyk-Kul State University named after K.Tynystanova. Studying was not easy: when it came time to defend her thesis, her eldest daughter was only two months old.

"My mom and relatives created all the conditions for me. When my daughter turned six months old, my mom said, 'I will take care of the baby, and you go to work, or you will lose your skills.' That's how I started my career in school," she said.

Currently, Aikerim and her husband, who works in the road sector, are raising four daughters. Despite the multitasking of home life, her career continues to develop.

Aikerim has been recognized as "Teacher of the Year" and has won prizes in republican competitions. As part of an international project, she placed second among 68 teachers from ten CIS countries and completed an internship in Russia.

Her students actively participate in various competitions, including the "Leningrad Blockade" project, where they recreated the image of the famous Toktogon Altybasarova.

Thanks to Aikerim's initiative, her students receive unique opportunities. Soon, two high school students will go on an educational trip to Crimea on the Black Sea. "I love my job and try to invest all my energy into my students. My goal is not just to impart knowledge, but to educate and provide the opportunity to see the world," emphasizes Aikerim Talantbekova.
