New buildings for the anti-plague department and forensic examination are planned to be constructed at Issyk-Kul

The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Adylbek Kasymaliev, instructed to explore the possibility of constructing new buildings for the anti-plague department and forensic examination in the Issyk-Kul region.

During his working trip to the Issyk-Kul region, he familiarized himself with the condition of the anti-plague department of the Center for the Control and Prevention of Dangerous Infections.

This institution was established in 1894, and its laboratory facilities do not meet modern biological safety standards. Following the visit, relevant agencies were suggested to consider the issue of constructing a new building and updating the material and technical base of the department.

In addition, Kasymaliev also visited the Issyk-Kul Regional Bureau of Forensic Examination. This institution is in an emergency state, as its building was erected in 1897. The bureau has three subdivisions.

At the end of the visit, the head of the cabinet of ministers instructed the relevant state bodies to address the issues of modernizing the infrastructure of this institution, including the construction of a new building and the procurement of necessary equipment.
