Kasymaliev visited the regional hospital, which was built in 1968, and checked the condition of the departments, as well as the progress of construction of a new building with 350 beds. The construction of this facility, consisting of eight blocks, is planned to be completed by 2027.
During the visit, Kasymaliev gave the following instructions:
- ensure the completion of construction within the established timeframe;
- provide apartments for young doctors through state mortgage programs;
- explore the possibility of building service housing.
Also, during the visit, a project for an international medical cluster worth $150 million was presented. This center with 510 beds will focus on the treatment of oncological and cardiological diseases and will create approximately 750 new jobs.
In addition, Kasymaliev visited the anti-plague department and the forensic examination bureau, the buildings of which were constructed in 1894 and 1897. Due to their emergency condition and non-compliance with biosafety standards, relevant agencies were instructed to consider the construction of new buildings and the upgrading of equipment.
