Today, March 5, Adylbek Kasymaliev made a working trip to medical institutions in the capital and Chui region to check the status of the construction of new buildings and address issues related to the material and technical support of medical facilities. The press service of the Cabinet reported this.

The first object of inspection was the Kyrgyz Scientific Center for Human Reproduction, where the head of the Cabinet was presented with a project for a new modern building. Kasymaliev noted that supporting the reproductive health of the nation is a strategic priority. He instructed the relevant ministries to expedite the work on the project documentation and identify funding sources for the implementation of this project.

Particular attention was needed at the Bishkek City Children's Clinical Emergency Hospital. During the inspection, Kasymaliev criticized the delay in the construction of a new building for emergency services, which was supposed to significantly relieve the current capacities of the institution. "Delays in healthcare, especially when it comes to children, are unacceptable. This is a matter of safety and the lives of our little citizens. The construction must be completed by June of this year. I will personally check its implementation. If the deadlines are not met, strict measures will be taken," said Kasymaliev.

The Prime Minister also instructed the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Finance to promptly develop proposals for equipping the hospital with the necessary equipment and to complete all work by April. He emphasized that he would check the results of this instruction within the established timeframe.

At the end of the visit, Kasymaliev visited the Chui Regional Unified Hospital named after E. Akramov (ChUHB), which is one of the busiest medical institutions in the region. Here, up to 18,000 patients receive treatment annually, around 6,000 surgeries are performed, and up to 6,000 births take place. The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Health and other relevant agencies to consider the possibility of constructing a new building on the territory of ChUHB to consolidate all services into a single modern medical cluster.

As a result of the visit, instructions were given to the relevant agencies and the Bishkek city administration to promptly address the identified issues and coordinate efforts to modernize healthcare.
