The reconstruction of the Areshan – Chunkurchak road continues in Kyrgyzstan, as reported by the Ministry of Transport and Communications. Currently, the work on widening the road and preparing the foundation on a 22-kilometer section, starting from scratch, has been completed. Earlier, in 2025, the installation of drainage pipes and the reconstruction of two bridges were carried out.
This route is an important pathway for tourists as it leads to a ski base and recreational areas. The upgrade of the road surface will significantly enhance the comfort and safety of travel.
