A free kidney transplant operation was conducted in Bishkek

Transplantology in Kyrgyzstan is becoming an important part of the healthcare system, highlighting its priority development.

According to information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Health, thanks to government support and the high qualifications of local specialists, complex surgeries are now successfully performed in the country, allowing citizens to save their lives without the need to seek medical assistance abroad.

Today, March 26, another kidney transplant was performed in Bishkek at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health (NCMCH). The operation was carried out free of charge for a 29-year-old patient.
