Since January 15, 2026, a campaign has been initiated in the country for the free exchange of old indefinite licenses for new ones.
Kanybek Tumanbaev, head of the president's office, recently stated that a medical certificate in form 083 will no longer be required for the exchange. Starting from January 15, this requirement will be excluded from the "Түндүк" system, which may be related to the ongoing technical work.
It was previously reported that the process of issuing a new driver's license takes from one to two working days after the application is submitted. In addition, applicants can track the status of their request through the "personal account" in the "Түндүк" application.
