The check took place on January 17 and 18. Referees from the southern regions were tested in Osh, while the northern representatives participated in the event in Bishkek. A total of 136 referees and their assistants took part in the tests.
The physical condition of the referees was assessed using the YO-YO fitness test, which is approved by FIFA and AFC and is applied at the international level. According to FIFA requirements, main referees were required to demonstrate a result of at least 18.4, while assistants needed to achieve a level of 17.6.
The YO-YO test allows for an objective measurement of endurance, the ability to cope with high-intensity loads, and the overall readiness of referees for matches. The results will be taken into account when forming the lists of referees for upcoming competitions and training camps, as well as for monitoring their physical fitness throughout the season.
As a result of the testing, the current physical readiness of the referees was assessed, and a list of candidates for participation in upcoming training events was compiled.
