At the Enver Gareev Botanical Garden, construction will begin on a mini-football field in an area that has long been considered unsuitable for gardening. This was reported by Nurlan Albanov, the deputy director of the Botanical Garden, in an interview on "Birinchi Radio."

According to him, the project has received approval from both the president and the leadership of the National Academy of Sciences, and no capital structures are planned to be built on the garden's territory.

“What is left of the Botanical Garden?” A new alarming video is being discussed online

“It is planned to create an open mini-football field with a light fence to prevent the ball from going out of bounds. It will occupy approximately 15-16 hundred square meters and will be located in an area that has remained rocky and unsuitable for planting for decades,” Nurlan Albanov specified.

He also noted that the Botanical Garden, founded in 1962 on the banks of the Alamedin River, originally included areas with heavy and rocky soil. Despite numerous attempts to improve this land, it has never been developed for botanical purposes.

The institution emphasized that the project will not affect the green spaces and scientific collections of the garden.
