Mamataliyev posed a rhetorical question: "What should be done if a person with a disability lives only with an assistant? How can they survive on this money?"
The deputy also cited the residential area "Muras-Ordo," where about 50 children with cerebral palsy live, and pointed out the lack of a rehabilitation center in this area.
He called for the construction of such a center, as parents of these children have to travel to Bishkek, which, considering the traffic jams, takes about two hours. "We need to create all the conditions for our children," he noted, addressing the president's representative in parliament, Almasbek Abytov.
It is also worth noting that during the budget discussion, the head of the cabinet of ministers, Adylbek Kasymaliev, announced plans to build rehabilitation centers in Osh and Karakol in 2026, while in other cities such facilities will be constructed as funding becomes available.
