It was previously reported that the remains of 25-year-old driver O. E. and 16-year-old schoolgirl T. S., born in 2010, were found in the burned car.
According to the investigation, the car was purchased on January 11. Two days later, the owner contacted an electrician to address a problem with the left headlight. The specialist noted that the condition of the car left much to be desired: exposed wires, the smell of gasoline, and smoke in the cabin were clear signs of danger. The driver was warned about the risks of operating the vehicle.
Despite the identified facts, the police initiated a criminal case under Article 122 "Murder" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic for a comprehensive and thorough investigation of the incident. Currently, necessary investigative actions are being conducted, based on the results of which a procedural decision will be made.
The regional police department of Chuy also urged citizens to refrain from spreading false information about the incident.
