This appointment was made by the order of the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The previous director, Samidin Shabyraliev, was relieved of his duties following an on-site inspection. The Ministry of Health noted that in the future, the candidacies of young but experienced specialists, including those with foreign experience, will be considered.
Brief Biography of Sheishenov:
Sheishenov was born in 1975 and graduated from the I. Akhunbaev Kyrgyz State Medical Academy in 1999, specializing in "general medicine." From 1999 to 2002, he completed a clinical residency in "cardiovascular surgery" at the Scientific Educational Center of the National Center for Cardiology and Therapy.- From 2002 to 2007, he worked as a cardiac surgeon in the department of acquired heart defects at the Institute of Heart Surgery and Organ Transplantation.
- From 2007 to 2021, he held the position of head of the cardiac surgery department at the Scientific Clinical Center for Cardiac Surgery and Transplantation in Taraz, Kazakhstan. Then, from 2021 to 2023, he became the deputy director of this center for medical work.
- From the beginning of 2023 until January 2026, he served as the chief physician of the scientific clinical center "Bishkek Cardio."
- In 2012, he defended his dissertation for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences at the Higher Attestation Commission of Russia. He is the author of four patents, as well as more than 40 scientific articles and 12 scientific reports presented at international conferences.
- From 2010 to 2023, he worked as the chief specialist in cardiac surgery and an independent expert in the Health Department of the Zhambyl Region of Kazakhstan.
- Sheishenov actively engages in organizational and methodological work with primary care physicians and provides consultations using air ambulance services and telemedicine.
- For his achievements in Kazakhstan, he was awarded honorary certificates from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the badge "Excellence in Healthcare."
