
A working meeting took place in Bishkek, attended by the directors of specialized children's and youth Olympic reserve schools (SDYUSHOR). The event was led by Kanibek Zholchubekov, the director of the Department of Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism, and Youth Affairs of the city administration.
The main topics of discussion included current issues related to both children's and youth sports as well as professional sports in the capital. Participants addressed matters of planning and rational expenditure of budgetary funds, as well as the organization of city, republican, and international competitions.
Particular attention was paid to improving the efficiency of sports institutions, creating the necessary conditions for training highly qualified athletes, and developing the city's sports reserve.
Currently, there are 12 specialized children's and youth schools operating in Bishkek, which play a key role in training young athletes and shaping the sports potential of the capital.
