In Bishkek, the development of youth sports was discussed with the directors of sports schools.

A working meeting was held in Bishkek with the directors of specialized children and youth Olympic reserve schools (SDYUSHOR) under the leadership of Kanybek Zholchubekov, the director of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Bishkek City Hall. This became known on January 26 thanks to the press service of the Bishkek City Hall.

During the meeting, participants discussed key aspects of the development of both children's and youth sports, as well as professional sports in Bishkek. Among the topics of discussion were issues related to the planning and expenditure of budgetary funds, as well as the organization of city championships and competitions at the republican and international levels.

Additionally, measures aimed at improving the operation of sports schools, creating the necessary conditions for training highly qualified athletes, and further developing the sports reserve of the capital were considered.

According to information from the City Hall, there are currently 12 specialized children and youth Olympic reserve schools operating in Bishkek.
