In the village of Kara-Kochkor, discussions have begun regarding the construction of a bridge. Local residents, who published video recordings on their social media pages, pointed out bags filled with hardened cement that were left inside the structure.

As noted by residents and experts, they intend to closely monitor the progress of the work, and after the construction is completed, a special inspection of the bridge's strength will be conducted.

The Akim of the Kara-Kuldzhinsky district, Zamir Sydykov, explained that the bags were used as supports for wooden structures during the pouring of concrete.

“A recent video shared by one of the residents of Kara-Kochkor shows the work being done to reinforce the bridge located over the 'Özgön Aryk' canal, on the road leading to the 'MTF' site in the Kara-Kochkor aiyl aimak. In response to the request from the residents of this area, a decision was made in November 2024 to carry out reinforcement work. The bridge, built in the 1970s, needed repairs due to the undermining of the foundations of the reinforced concrete blocks installed on the supports. The tender for the reinforcement of the bridge was won by the company OsOO 'Remark Group LTD', which carried out the work. The tender amount was 163,255 soms. As part of the completed work, the reinforced concrete slabs under the bridge were strengthened and the slab on top was leveled. The bags seen in the video were filled with sand and served to support the wooden formwork during the pouring of concrete,” he clarified.
