In 2026, the Kyrgyz Republic plans to purchase buildings in England and Japan for its embassies

At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Almaz Imangaziev reported that the republic currently has 33 embassies and 10 consulates abroad.

According to him, Kyrgyzstan owns 14 embassy buildings, 5 residences, and 31 apartments in various countries.

This year, buildings for embassies were purchased in Hungary and Paris, and in 2024, four apartments for diplomats were acquired in Berlin. The deputy minister also noted that in 2025, a building for the embassy in Seoul was purchased, and negotiations are currently underway for the purchase of a property in Vienna.

According to his information, acquisitions for Kyrgyzstan's embassies in England and Japan are planned for 2026.
