At the meeting held on February 2, Beksultan Tokonov, head of the State Agency for Management of State Property, announced the results of the privatization program for 2023-2025.

He reported that the program includes 24 facilities, of which four have already been sold:

The total amount received from sales as a result of electronic auctions was 15 billion 41 million 580 thousand 339 soms.

In addition, Tokonov noted that three facilities were established in the form of a joint-stock company with full state ownership and continue to exist:

Deputy Bekeshev asked why the report lacked information about the sale of "Keremet Bank."

In response, Tokonov stated that he would provide the information in writing.

The deputy expressed dissatisfaction: "You must be prepared for the report. What happened? The National Bank transferred the bank to the Cabinet of Ministers, and then what? If there was a sale, for what amount? The National Bank valued it at 8 billion soms. The Cabinet could not sell it for less than this amount. How much ultimately went to the budget?"

Tokonov clarified that the state owns 0.74% of "Keremet Bank."

"Work is ongoing, the full amount has not yet been received," he added.

Dastan Bekeshev noted: "The situation raises questions. If we are dealing with the sale of such assets, there should be at least some benefit from it," also inquiring whether the state has a stake in the "Eurasian Savings Bank."

To this, the director of the state agency responded negatively.
