During his visit to the State Center for Vehicle and Driver Registration, President Sadyr Japarov discussed pressing issues with citizens. The director of the "Kabar" agency, Meder Shermetaliev, reported this on social media.

During the conversation, the president emphasized the need for members of the Jogorku Kenesh to consider the opinions of citizens. "When 100-200 people raise an issue, the deputies immediately rush to respond, just to make a good impression on the people. They do not always think about whether they are doing the right thing and what benefit it will bring to the state. Often, calls for change are heard, but before discussing, I urge for a thorough analysis: measure seven times, cut once," noted Japarov.

He added that it is important to weigh the possible consequences of proposals, and if something is being done incorrectly, it should be discussed. "I am not against discussions, but it is important to avoid populism. I was a deputy myself and always tried to justify my statements," said the president. Japarov suggested gathering together with deputies and the cabinet of ministers for an open discussion of relevant issues.

Most likely, when the president spoke about deputies, he was referring to their demands to shorten the training periods in driving schools.
