The head of the president's information service noted that the cost of training in private driving schools is 35,000-36,000 soms.
Daiyrbek Orunbekov, head of the information policy of the presidential administration, reported that training in state driving schools will cost 19,000 soms for 10 months.
He refuted rumors circulating on social media that training could cost between 100,000 to 200,000 soms, calling them inaccurate.
“The officially approved cost is 19,000 soms. Students will independently cover expenses for fuel and other costs. This is significantly cheaper than in private driving schools, where both theoretical and practical training costs about 35,000-36,000 soms,” he added.
