According to him, these electric vehicles are exempt from value-added tax (VAT).
“In accordance with the agreements within the EAEU, we were granted a quota for 15,000 electric vehicles. Citizens are actively taking advantage of this opportunity, resulting in more than 200 such cars being imported into the country daily. We have been utilizing these quotas for three years, which allows for an increase in the number of electric vehicles in the republic and, in turn, contributes to improving air quality,” emphasized Daniyar Amangeldiev.
