Kyrgyzstan and the EU held the 7th meeting of the Cooperation Development Subcommittee

At the meeting, the Kyrgyz delegation was headed by Deputy Foreign Minister Meder Abakirov, while the European side was represented by Charlotte Adrien, head of the Central Asia and Afghanistan department from the Directorate-General for International Partnerships (INTPA) of the European Commission.

Charlotte Adrien emphasized the positive results achieved within the framework of the Global Gateway project, including the signing of a memorandum of understanding with the European Investment Bank concerning the energy sector.

The parties exchanged views on issues of bilateral and regional cooperation and outlined key areas for further strengthening and enhancing the effectiveness of interaction on topics of mutual interest.
