She noted that the parliament should be composed of resilient individuals capable of facing political challenges, adding that one should not seek only comfort and salary in this field.
Commenting on Kamchybek Tashiev's resignation, Talieva expressed her dissatisfaction towards the deputies. According to her, she expected someone from her colleagues to speak, but the only one who took the floor was Umbetaly Kadyraliev.
The deputy called for a petition to the country's leadership to stop the current situation.
“People are calling as if they have lost a loved one. This needs to stop. Someone must tell the truth. I am ready to speak. Let’s prepare an appeal to the president, as we came to power together, endured difficult times together, and Kamchybek Kydyrshaevich is not just an individual,” she emphasized.
Talieva also pointed out that the parliament should remain a political arena.
“We cannot limit ourselves to merely approving the agenda. Let’s stand firm in the face of this political crisis,” she addressed her colleagues.
On February 10, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, signed a decree relieving Kamchybek Tashiev of his duties as Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the State Committee for National Security.
Jumgalbek Shabdanbekov has been appointed as the acting chairman of the SCNS.
In addition, three deputy chairmen of the SCNS have also resigned.
