During a meeting with President Sadyr Japarov, the speaker shared plans for the next five years.
“The president spoke about the reforms carried out in the administration and the government, noting that thanks to digitalization, the decision-making process has become more prompt, and resources are being used more efficiently. As a result of savings, 1 billion 205 million soms were saved in 2024,” Mamataliyev stated.
He also reported that a decision has already been made to purchase 90 tablets for deputies so they can receive and study materials that are currently submitted to parliament in paper format. The speaker emphasized that the volume of paper coming into parliament is enormous.
“There are often officials in the corridors of parliament who can be called to meetings. Therefore, the possibility of participating in committee meetings in an online format is planned if questions arise for certain officials. In addition, public receptions will be organized, allowing deputies to meet citizens online without traveling to the regions. There will also be reception areas for five deputy groups in the Jogorku Kenesh so that people do not have to wait outside, and rooms for mothers with children will be provided,” the speaker noted.
It is worth reminding that on February 12, Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu resigned from the position of Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh at his own request, and Marlen Mamataliyev took his place.
