Kulubaev discussed projects and sanctions with the European Parliament delegation

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, held a meeting with a delegation from the European Parliament, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

During the negotiations, issues of bilateral cooperation, inter-parliamentary interaction, and current regional problems were discussed. Kulubaev shared information with his European colleagues about the political and economic transformations in the country, emphasizing their significance for sustainable development.

As part of the meeting, the minister presented several major investment projects, including the construction of the "Kambar-Ata-1" hydropower plant and a railway connecting China, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. He also noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in attracting technologies from Europe and highlighted the importance of developing transport infrastructure and energy security in the region.

During an open dialogue, Kulubaev answered questions regarding secondary sanctions, emphasizing Kyrgyzstan's position and its commitment to international obligations.

In addition, the participants of the meeting addressed current issues on the Central Asian agenda, including key challenges and initiatives facing the region.
