Today, at a meeting of the Central Election Commission of Kyrgyzstan, a unanimous decision was made to prematurely revoke the mandate of deputy Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu.

It is noteworthy that Nurlanbek himself announced earlier that day his intention to resign. He participated in the parliamentary elections held on November 30, 2025, in multi-mandate district No. 15.

In recent days, rumors have circulated in the media about his involvement in political intrigues and the so-called "appeal of 75." Nurlanbek Turgunbek uulu denied these claims, stating: "I had no relation to either intrigues or the collection of signatures for the appeal of seventy-five elders, and I make this statement in the holy month of Ramadan before God."

He also added that the letter, which caused public resonance, was published during his visit to Turkey, and he learned about it only after it was released to the media.

Furthermore, the former speaker shared information about his health issues, which led him to decide to exit politics and focus on recovering his health and personal matters.

As a result of the elections, the next candidate for the deputy mandate was supposed to be Alisher Erbaev; however, he was appointed director of the Anti-Terrorism Center of the State Committee for National Security. In this regard, the mandate may pass to Jayloobai Nyshanov, who is next on the list after Erbaev. In the recent elections, Nyshanov received 5,865 votes, which corresponds to 8.69 percent.
