The Ministry of Emergency Situations transferred 116 units of special equipment

Today, February 23, a solemn ceremony was held in Bishkek for the transfer of special equipment to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic. Adylbek Kasymaliev participated in the event, the press service of the government reported.

He congratulated everyone on Defender of the Fatherland Day and noted that over the past five years, the ministry has received 652 units of vehicles and specialized equipment worth 7 billion soms. According to Kasymaliev, the transfer of a new batch of 116 units is one of the most significant steps in the modernization process in the entire history of the country's independence.

The head of the government noted that in 2025, the budget for the Ministry of Emergency Situations will exceed 5.5 billion soms. This year, additional funding has also been allocated, which has been successfully used for emergency recovery work, infrastructure projects, modernization of airfields, construction of meteorological stations and strategic facilities, as well as the development of border areas with special conditions.

At the end of the event, the chairman of the cabinet expressed gratitude to the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for their selfless work in preventing and eliminating emergencies. He wished them health, family happiness, and successful professional activities, and then handed over the keys to the new equipment to the Minister of Emergency Situations, Urmatbek Shamyurkanov.
