
In Bishkek, at the Turdakun Usubaliev Square, a ceremony was held to hand over the keys to 116 units of new special equipment for the Ministry of Emergency Situations. The event was attended by the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev and was timed to coincide with Defender of the Fatherland Day, as reported by the government press service.
In his address, Kasymaliev congratulated the Ministry of Emergency Situations staff on the holiday and emphasized the importance of a systematic approach by the authorities to improving the material and technical base of the agency.
Over the past five years, the Ministry of Emergency Situations has replenished its vehicle fleet with 652 units of equipment, for which 7 billion soms were allocated.
The delivery of 116 new vehicles marked a significant renewal of the ministry's technical fleet and became one of the largest modernizations in the years of independence.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers emphasized that state funding fully meets the needs of the agency. In 2025, the budget of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will exceed 5.5 billion soms. Additional funds will be directed to emergency recovery work, the implementation of infrastructure projects, support for border regions, and the construction of meteorological stations and bridges.



During his speech, Adylbek Kasymaliev also emphasized the importance of preventing emergencies and conducting outreach work with the population living in risk zones, such as floods, landslides, and earthquakes.
The Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers highly praised the professional skills of Kyrgyz rescuers, who successfully carry out complex tasks both in the country and abroad. Among their achievements are the ecological cleanup of Lake Issyk-Kul, rescue operations on Lenin Peak, and assistance to earthquake victims in Turkey.
