
At the last meeting of the parliamentary groups of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov shared information about the social support measures currently in place.
He noted that according to the current legislation of the country, six different types of social payments are provided, and on average, about 300 thousand people receive such assistance every month.
Key measures include:
- “Balaga suyunchu” for newborns — 4,000 soms;
- Monthly financial assistance “Uy-bulogo komok” for low-income families with children aged 2 to 16 years — 1,200 soms;
- Payment for disabled citizens without pension provision — 6,300 soms;
- Assistance for orphans — 6,000 soms per month;
- Payments for mountainous regions for the third and subsequent children up to 3 years old — 3,000 soms for each;
- One-time support “Bala Bereke” for mothers of large families in mountainous areas — from 100,000 to 2 million soms depending on the number of children.
