At a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Mahabat Mavlyanova noted that the current entry rules for Kyrgyzstan create serious problems for former citizens of the country.

She emphasized that according to the regulations introduced in October 2023, foreigners in the territory of the state cannot return within two months after one month of stay.

According to the parliamentarian, such restrictions become significant barriers for migrants who continue to maintain ties with their homeland.

“Many have parents and other close relatives here. There are often circumstances when relatives need assistance, but former citizens cannot return due to these strict rules,” added Mahabat Mavlyanova.

In this regard, the deputy urged the government to reconsider the current regulations and ease the entry conditions for former compatriots.
