The deputies supported the candidacy of Erlis Akunbekov, who will serve as the Deputy Chairman and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and the Processing Industry.
In his new role, Akunbekov will be responsible for issues related to water policy, support for farming enterprises, and the development of state programs in the agricultural sector.
Erlis Akunbekov, 42, hails from Osh and is a graduate of Osh State University and the Moscow State University of Management.
As a private entrepreneur, he heads the agricultural industrial company ATS-Group and the Association of Fertilizer Suppliers. In recent years, he has actively collaborated with farming enterprises, implementing modern management approaches in the agro-industrial sector and supporting domestic producers. He also holds the position of Chairman of the Association for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex of Kyrgyzstan.
Additionally, the candidacy of Damirbek Osmonov for the position of Acting Minister of Health was approved.
Damirbek Osmonov is an experienced cardiologist, 44 years old. He heads the Department of Cardiology at the International Medical University of Bishkek and is the Chief Freelance Interventional Cardiologist and Arrhythmologist at the Ministry of Health.
Osmonov is recognized as one of the leading specialists in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, actively participating in international medical organizations and scientific projects.
He is also the founder and chief physician of the private clinic "Bikard."
