The provision of textbooks in schools of Kyrgyzstan has reached 84.8 percent

At a meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on Science, Education, and Youth Affairs, Deputy Minister of Education Nadira Jusupbekova reported that the level of textbook provision in schools in Kyrgyzstan has reached 84.8%.

She noted that in recent years, the government's financial investments in the textbook publishing process have significantly increased.

In particular, in 2020, approximately 120 million soms were allocated for these purposes, which allowed for the printing of more than 330,000 copies of books. By 2025, funding increased to 856.4 million soms, which enabled the publication of about 4 million 85 thousand textbooks, thereby ensuring a provision level of 84.8%.
