The President called for dialogue in the Middle East
The head of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, commented on the current situation in the Middle East, noting on his social media the necessity of constructive dialogue among the countries of the region.
He expressed his concern about the escalating tensions and their detrimental impact on neighboring Arab countries.
“It is very sad that the conflict has erupted in the holy month of Orozo, which is a time for spiritual purification, good deeds, forgiveness, and mutual understanding. We feel deep sorrow and share the bitterness of loss with the peoples of the region, considering the number of casualties among civilians. We condemn any actions that have led to such tragic consequences,” the president stated.
Japarov also emphasized that Kyrgyzstan supports the joint efforts of the international community for a peaceful resolution of the conflict, based on the principles of the UN Charter and international law.
“We call on all parties to exercise restraint, to immediately cease hostilities, and to take any measures that contribute to a swift return to constructive dialogue for a peaceful resolution of the situation,” he added.
