In light of the deteriorating situation at the border between Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan strongly advises its citizens to refrain from traveling to these regions. This was reported in the official press release of the ministry.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there has been an increase in military activity, which raises serious concerns.
However, the ministry noted that air traffic in Pakistan continues as usual, and the airspace remains open. Kyrgyz citizens are advised to leave the country if necessary, while taking precautions.
Kyrgyz citizens currently in Afghanistan and Pakistan are advised to be particularly vigilant, avoid crowded places and potentially dangerous areas, and strictly follow the instructions of local authorities.
It is important to carry identification and contact information for diplomatic missions, as well as to stay updated with information from official sources.
In case of emergencies, citizens should seek assistance from the diplomatic representations of Kyrgyzstan.
