On January 28, the owner of a jewelry store located in one of the shopping centers contacted the police. She reported that on January 14, around 1:20 PM, a gold ring worth 14,000 soms was stolen from her boutique.
A criminal case was initiated in connection with this incident under Article 205 ("Theft") of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The law enforcement authorities arrested a 16-year-old girl named A.Z., who was placed in a temporary detention facility.
During the investigation, her involvement in three other similar crimes was established.
