According to the agency, the incident occurred yesterday, January 28, around 21:00.
“A resident of the city of Manas, born in 2003, contacted the police. She reported that four men she did not know arrived in a Hyundai Sonata, covered her face with a sheet, used force, and put her in the car.
As a result of operational search activities, the suspects were detained by police officers on the same day and handed over to the operational investigative group of the Manas city internal affairs department,” the statement said.
Later, the Jalal-Abad regional police added that three citizens, aged 32, and one citizen aged 33, were detained on suspicion of the abduction of the 23-year-old woman.
“During the investigative actions, it became known that the inspectors detained the individuals who had abducted the 23-year-old woman in the village of Kyzyl-Senir and transferred them to the investigative service of the Manas city internal affairs department.
As suspects in this crime, three citizens born in 1994 and one citizen born in 1993 have been detained. They have been placed in a temporary detention facility at the Manas city internal affairs department,” the regional police noted.
