A resident of the capital, A. R., reported to the investigative service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Oktobrskiy District that on the night of January 4, 2026, unknown criminals broke the glass of his window and entered his home on Maldybaeva Street, stealing a gold ring and wristwatch with a total value of 900 US dollars. After the theft, the criminal fled the scene.
A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205 "Theft" of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
A suspect in an apartment burglary was detained in Bishkek.
During operational search activities, the identity of the suspect was established; he turned out to be K. S., born in 1988, who had previously been convicted. He was taken to the investigative department and then placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek.
Currently, checks are ongoing to determine his involvement in other similar crimes.
