According to law enforcement agencies, the activities were organized as part of a protocol directive adopted at a meeting of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic on December 30, 2025. The aim of the raids, named "Arsenal," was to strengthen control over the handling of firearms in the region.
During the inspections, an inventory of civilian firearms, ammunition, as well as weapons issued as awards, was conducted, with an emphasis on compliance with storage rules and deadlines.
As a result of the raids, police officers seized 51 units of firearms, including: 9 rifled, 37 smoothbore, 4 gas-traumatic, and 1 award weapon.
