According to the agency's data, during a preventive raid called "Arsenal," officers of the patrol and post service identified a violation of firearm handling rules.
On January 24, 2026, police officers, together with representatives of other government agencies, conducted a raid in the area of the Papan Reservoir, located in the Kara-Suu district.
During the raid, it was established that a citizen named A.T., born in 1984, violated the rules for transporting his smoothbore firearm, as he was transporting it without a special case, despite having the necessary permits.
As a result, based on Article 133 of the Code of Offenses, the man was fined 3,000 soms.
The agency emphasized: "Citizens of Kyrgyzstan are allowed to store, transport, and use firearms only with the appropriate permit and in accordance with established procedures."
